Senior Product Designer
Help Shape the Future of Gaming as our new Senior Product Designer
If you’re ready to combine your passion for design, AI, and gaming into something extraordinary, this is your chance. We’re on a mission to revolutionise how the world discovers, interacts with, and creates games — and we need your creativity and expertise to make it happen.
How We Make an Impact
Gameopedia began with a simple mission: to be the ultimate gamer friend, helping gamers discover the best games with top-tier recommendations. Today, we've grown into a company that delivers industry-leading video game data and insights to some of the world’s biggest companies, including Google, YouTube, Samsung, LG, and Amazon, shaping millions of gaming decisions globally.
As the global leader in game metadata, with data for more than 200K games, we are becoming an AI-first company. We’re crafting advanced AI solutions that transform the gaming industry by enhancing discovery, personalisation, and development. At the core of this effort is our specialised domain-specific LLM, designed to combine the power of large language models with deep gaming knowledge. Design plays a critical role in turning this technology into intuitive, inspiring experiences.
How You'll Make an Impact
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll be among the first senior voices shaping how design, engineering, and AI come together at Gameopedia. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, prototype fast and deliver products that change how both business stakeholders and gamers interact with intelligent systems.
What we expect you to do
Take ownership of the end-to-end design process for AI-first products, from exploring ambiguous problems to shipping polished experiences.
Prototype with Figma and code to bring ideas to life quickly, align teams, and accelerate product decisions.
Work side-by-side with engineers and data scientists to turn complex AI capabilities into clear, intuitive experiences.
Jump into implementation when needed to ensure features ship with high quality and speed.
Balance rapid iteration with a strong sense of craft, knowing when to push for polish and when to move fast.
Help define design practices and processes as we scale.
What We Think You’ll Need to Succeed
Strong product design craft across interaction, visual, and system design.
Demonstrated ability to bring clarity in ambiguous problem spaces.
Fluency in prototyping with AI tools and code, creating functional experiences.
A track record of designing and shipping AI-first or technically complex products.
Comfort working closely with engineers, understanding constraints, and even pairing on implementation.
A maker’s mindset: you don’t just think, you build.
Bonus XP (Nice-to-Haves)
Experience in gaming, game development, or interactive media.
Background in AI/ML design patterns (e.g., conversational interfaces, content generation, intelligent systems).
Motion design or data visualisation skills.
Experience in early-stage or scale-up environments.
Contributions to open-source projects, design systems, or creative side projects.
We think you’ll thrive with us if you are:
Someone who’s passionate about building AI-powered experiences that inspire and delight. You love the challenge of applying design to real-world, domain-specific problems, and gaming is a domain you either love already or are eager to explore.
You take pride in working autonomously, designing creative solutions without waiting for someone to tell you exactly how. At the same time, you understand that great products are built by teams who share knowledge and complement each other's strengths. You enjoy collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and fellow designers to achieve meaningful results.
Above all, you value honesty, clarity, and creating technology that enhances the experiences of gamers around the world.
