You will guide Gameopedia through its next growth phase by fostering a development-orientated culture rooted in our core values of Success, Family, Agility, and Balance. You will be responsible for creating and enhancing HR programs, initiatives, guidelines and tools to deliver the highest level of candidate and employee experience. With a strong balance of business acumen and deep HR knowledge, you will ensure HR services are flawlessly delivered in an accurate and timely manner.

 

We aim to revolutionize the video game industry by creating unprecedented, personalized experiences on popular gaming platforms across the globe. You will spearhead the recruitment and empowerment of a talented international team of gamers, data scientists, engineers, and HR professionals to create industry disrupting products and services that achieve and eventually surpass this vision.

 

As the Head of HR, you will be a member of the Executive Leadership Team and will report directly to the Head of Business Operations. The role is based in Hyderabad, and you will be required onsite most days (flexible over the coming months due to the pandemic).

 

The Role

  • Drive business results and growth by creating and implementing best practice HR initiatives in-line with the company’s business requirements and legal guidelines.
  • Serve as a coach and strategy advisor to the executive team to ensure that the people and organization strategy enables achieving the company’s vision, mission, and business results as quickly as possible.
  • Enhance and execute a Talent Acquisition strategy, including identifying resources to meet the Company’s hiring needs.
  • Implement programs to ensure the business develops and retains high-quality talent at all levels to enable the company’s growth objectives and business strategies.
  • Enhance and manage the compensation infrastructure for executive and non-executive cash and equity compensation.
  • Lead, develop and implement activities needed to automate and streamline processes to ensure operational excellence, high reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Act as coach/mentor/advocate for employees and managers, resolve employee relations issues and develop proactive solutions based on data driven analyses.
  • Implement and continuously optimize a companywide training, growth and development infrastructure for hard/soft skills and compliance.
  • Oversee and own the HR function and team.

 

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in human resources across high growth start-ups and multinational corporations. A minimum of 2 years leading a company’s HR function with extensive experience in talent acquisition, employee relations/engagement, performance management, executive cash and equity compensation, learning & development, and experience as an HR business partner.
  • Prior experience scaling start-ups. A strong leader who drives change and transformation.
  • Extremely data-driven and a strong proponent of the practical and evidence-based approach.
  • A knowledgeable businessperson with a record of quickly building credibility & trust with executives, leaders, and professionals within and without the organization. Must have a reputation of unimpeachable integrity.
  • Lives on the cutting edge of HR practices & trends.
  • Energetic and agile, with strong levels of perseverance. Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment.
  • Possesses a reputation for HR strategy and is willing to do what it takes to drive results with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to positively influence up, down, and across the organization.
  • Fluent in English, with impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
